It’s far from perfect, but given the fact I effectively was paralysed three months ago, I’m grateful for walking again, splint and all. Arm has a bit to go, and I need practice outdoors, but improving every day. Physio and occupational team here in Enniscorthy are terrific!

I'll be home in September. If you'd like to go for a drive and get out for a bit with yours truly, then it would be my pleasure, pal.

That is phenomenal progress Philip - so delighted for you - and it’s only 3 months. We don’t hear enough about the wonderful care and services we get from our health system. I had 3 serious in last 15 years got tremendous care. Same for both my folks who are now sadly gone.

Great progress and it will continue. I have been on a similar road with a different condition learning to eat and walk again etc. Home , cooking , sharing recipes , working to follow. That return to normality .
