Bats eat bugs so I’m good with bats so long as they haven’t been Fauci’d.

Austin is famous for that bat colony. Every evening, it's a spectacular show as the bats emerge from under the Congress Avenue bridge, cloud the sky, and then head back under for another day. It is a sight to behold.

This bridge is famous. Friend recently went to Austin and I told her she HAD to see the bats. She did and said it was incredible.

This is exactly the season when it can happen: during migration, bats can fly into open windows and end up indoors. In Kyiv, volunteers recently found 381 bats inside a single apartment after the windows had been left open for about a week.

Do they always do this type of mass migration or should we be aware of something?

There’s an abandoned building in my area that I’ve seen a colony fly out of the chimney around sunset. They’re a fantastic thing to get a chance to see.

You want to be well away from the downward trajectory of bat poop, the origin of Covid and many other serious/fatal diseases

What bugs are out?

Where are they headed and where did they come from? As a child we would only see them at night. We would make balls out of ten foil and through the in the air to attract the bats.
