@UMichFootball Nailed it, Rich. How could you not be romantic about college football? The entire Harbaugh era at UM has been nothing short of poetic.

@UMichFootball Thank you for this great listen. So relatable . Watched from Tx growing up, went there, really formed the base for the rest of my life. #GoBlue

Good stuff Rich. I grew up near Kalamazoo and was avid U of M fan since the days of Rick Leach and Butch Woolfolk. My Dad took me to the infamous "Charley White fumble" Rose Bowl vs USC (a game we would have won if they used replay back then) in Jan of 1980. I was 17 years old in the summer of 1986. My HS sent me to Jack Harbaugh's WMU QB camp at Houseman Field in Grand Rapids MI. I found myself playing catch with my idol and UofM QB Jim Harbaugh. Had my last name taped to front of my helmet. Jim said, "Rifenberg, that is a GREAT football name." Made me feel 10 feet tall. I now realize he was referring to 1940s UofM All American (not closely related) Dick Rifenburg. But at that time, I just thought he liked the name. Celebrated and endured the highs and lows of the Carr era. Suffered through the days of Rich Rod and Hoke. ..but the day they hired Harbs, I knew we were back. I honestly thought I would never see the day that we would win the national championship, it's just too hard to win it all. But we did it. For U of M fans, the legend grows. I would hope Jim follows the advice his dad would (I think) give him now. "Stay here. You were meant to be THIS guy at THIS school. Stay and build a dynasty." Go Blue.

@UMichFootball Congratulations Rich! Finally sir . Stay on cloud 15 sir. ❤️❤️🏆

@UMichFootball The sadness for me is in the UK we don't have this, college/university sport isn't the spectator sport like it is in the US and nothing like the pro game in the UK so I don't get as pumped about my alma mater like Americans do about theirs. But I love your passion Rich.

@UMichFootball Sign stealing cheaters.

@UMichFootball went to Penn State because I was rejected at Penn. I knew nothing about Football until my first game at Beaver Stadium against Arizona in 1999. It was incredible being a Student with 100K people screaming for @PennStateFball. I can definitely relate to ur passion for your school.

@UMichFootball

@UMichFootball @richeisen - Michigan Football fans, you’re our spirit animal. Always has the best way to describe exactly what it feels like and what UM means to us Go Blue forever. #GoBlue
