@nickmdiego Hate to tell you this, but typography and spacing are literally the two things that don't require breakpoints on the internet.

Hopefully we see responsive controls in WordPress core soon. That's the most ideal place for something like this. Maybe this is something that starts in Ollie and ends up in core, like how Menu Designer influenced the new mobile menus in WordPress 7.0. 😎 Could happen!

You're fixing the WordPress editor, man. We need this in the core! 🙏 cc: @richtabor

No way. Fixed breakpoints as if it‘s 2012.

Cool but definitely old news for most professional builders. Plus typography and spacing shouldn’t need breakpoints, there are much better ways to handle that.

It's 2026 and can't believe this is still not built into the core yet.

Simple, core-forward, brilliantly done.

Simple, simple, simple. The user shouldn't have to think about this at all. It just works how/where they expect. Curious to see what kind of feedback we get. Hopefully it can inform some movement into core. 🤞

Based on the video, the UI for this looks clean and pretty. But responsive controls like this don’t seem like a super groundbreaking feature. Hasn’t @GenerateBlocks had this ability for years? How did Ollie users deal with responsiveness before this?

@GenerateBlocks You’d be surprised how far the fluid type and spacing will get you. And core blocks do have some responsive settings. It’s not groundbreaking (for Ollie or Generate). We were hoping to see it in core, so we waited. The time finally felt right to tackle it.

@GenerateBlocks It is rather amazing that it isn’t in core yet. And since core is integrating something like your menu builder, maybe your implementation of responsive will be the one that finally gets added as well!

@GenerateBlocks That’s the hope! Sometimes you gotta build it and let people see it and feel it first. I think this could practically be implemented with relatively low risk.

Another incredibly well thought out feature. Ollie really is the theme that keeps on giving.

Nice work! Is there an option included to adjust the breakpoints?

Not yet, supposedly that is coming to code in ~7.1 and we’ll support it from there.

Some kind of "reset all settings to default" on a block would be amazing for this!
