I always think that this is because the developer probably need to capture some images with cinematic feels to it. But it's still cool all the same.

i tried playing this one but gave up, the fifth or so level is like a filter, man! sh*t's hard, man! no more hand-holding at that point

Hitman 1 was very experimental, than they finally got it right with Hitman 2 . Hitman 1 is a nightmare sometimes , especially certain specific missions.

It also featured free aim when leaning left or right (which you can also notice in the video), which was removed in the sequel.

I forgot about this. I remember downloading a demo of this back in the day and I thought it was cool as heck. Couldn't afford games so I'd play those demos to death. And here just the other day I got the new Hitman collection on Switch 2. :) Feels like a PS2/GC/Xbox era game.
