COP30 in Brazil was yet another giant jamboree of virtue hypocrisy. 100,000 trees in the Amazon were chopped down to provide a VIP highway to the COP summit and a number of delegates flew in by private jet - including Keir Starmer and Ed Miliband. It’s time to axe COP & Net Zero, rather than axing trees for the virtue hypocrites to attend a hideously expensive summit that does nothing to ‘save the planet’ apart from using taxpayers’ money for government representatives to strut around grandstanding their virtue hypocrisy at our expense.
