Oh no you don't have the video from your 1st birthday? Almost no one prior to generation crybaby had a video of their 1st birthday.

OMG! You were raised by a narcissist too? 🤯 Difference between millennials & GenX: millennials beg for attention, GenX moved on & didn’t feel the need to beg for sympathy. She’s choosing to focus on the past while we focused on being better than our parents. It sucks, grow up 🤦🏻‍♀️

It’s funny how numb I’ve become to women crying over the past few years. They have squandered that power, and now a woman can cry in front of me and I feel nothing.

I couldn't make it to then end of this. Adults learn how to deal with difficult people, family and otherwise. Crying about failing to mature enough to do that is just failing.

In this womens scenario, it seems as if her mother sucked and took advantage of her daughters kindness. No contact might be the right move. Where i draw the line is politics. If you are no contact because your parents think differently politically than you can fuck right off!

"I will never get to see my baby photos again" What she does not say is that it is her choice to cut off her family. Then gets on tik tok and cries for attention from strangers instead of embracing family.

Having a narcissistic mother if you’re a GenX or millennial is not that uncommon, as their parents generation (Boomers) are notoriously narcissistic. It’s nothing to laugh at. Growing up in a loveless household where you’re exploited until your usefulness has been utterly depleted… is a thing. Our society is so profoundly broken and these comments prove it because none of you care. Personally, all differences aside, it breaks my heart. Every one of us deserves to be loved. To be valued. But too many out there never get that. Ever.

This is a 30 yr old? I hate my baby pictures. I don’t have a picture of my 1st birthday you don’t see me crying about a time a long time ago.

You should honor your mother and father, be grateful for all they have done for you, even if that was just conceiving you. If you honor, it will go well for you. It is the 5th commandment. Don’t be a rebel or an ingrate. That will just cause needless suffering.

Ma’am, you are at least 30 and you have Winnie the Pooh on your shirt, a cartoon frog on your beanie and you are crying into your camera.. not for a moment would I assume you follow trends. For a moment I did think “autism looks rough.”

My grown daughter tried no contact with me. I had set boundaries....she was living in my house... moved out and everything. I was the worst narcissistic, meanest mom EVER. She lasted 5 weeks before needing something. Life is hard. Let them learn the harder way like we did.

she needs to get a grip and grow up. I don’t have any pictures of my Nana or grandmother talking to me either but am I gonna make a major deal out of it no. The problem is is these adult kids are narcissistic, self-centered little tweakers that think life is about them

Well guess what kitten? I'm 76 years old and they did not have video when I was a baby. I have virtually no pictures of my childhood before the age of 18. I turned out quite well. You see pumpkin it's not all about you. Go about your life...

How about your family actually passes away and you have no choice but to be no contact...by the time you are 30....cry me a fucking river....yeah you are being over dramatic and need to grown up...life to short to hold grudges like this...get over yourself

yep- without social media there'd never be a second thought of going no contact. only used to happen in cases of really problematic abusive parents - not simply having a difference of opinion over politics.

It is a trend. You people are harming yourselves & people who love you the most. After going no contact is your life better having fewer people who really care about you? There maybe some you can do without. But your Mom & Dad or siblings most likely aren't them.

The favorite words of a narcissist parent, “I don’t care. Just get over it!” not realizing they gaslit you with that 16x already that week. It’s difficult to live in a constant state of this mental abuse. Even with no contact, narc abuse lingers in life and even through death.

Going no contact because of a disconnect that wad most likely caused by government or a generational gap is the most ridiculous thing I can think of. Teachers that indoctrinate children with socialist views of government is better than family is disgusting.

I don't have any videos of my family either because I grew up in the '70s before those things existed. I think she'll be fine!!
