Perfect portrayal of Tory Britain. Tories don't like how things go. Change the law to support the Tories and criminal mates. They have decriminalised corruption, fraud, bullying, harassment, etc. Only Exception. The common folks.

Of course, the British are immune to breaking the law! Unless you are beneath a certain class!

I think there is a lot of the ‘well it couldn’t happen here’ kind of thinking which excuses a lot of poor behaviour. Good old British Exceptionalism.
