Apparently needing to do that is a myth. I’ve read everywhere online about it. It’s hard to stop I also do it to see if bar is going down low enough idk. lol

Do your shoulders not kill you using smith vs regular barbell? Lifting anything over like 90-100kg on smith just destroys my shoulder joints...

Looking good Chris, the only tip I’d give you is your wrist placement. It’ll feel odd at first, but if you do this your wrist is in line with your whole arm so it’ll give you more stability and strength and not relying on the strength of your wrist alone. Keep it going tho! 😤💪🏼

Watch those wrists and other than that you’re cool. Keeping your head down is something I was taught but I didn’t really feel a difference head up vs down so fuck it. Just keep your wrist straight and knuckles up. Good shit 🫡🫡🫡

Try keeping elbows in a little more so their not flaring out, I could be mistaken by the angle. Try to get the bar to touch your chest instead of checking to see if it’s low enough. Solid work 💪🏼

Pushing chin to chest cuts down blood flow, just keep ur head down, and you'll know wen the bar is down when it touches your chest
