To say this has been a month no one ever imagines is possible in life is an understatement Late June… we find out my wife’s father has the same version of lung cancer she has been fighting/beating and that he can’t handle treatment so he only has weeks to live. At the same time, we find out her cancer is back in her hip socket. Better than in 7 spots like before but still, back. So, the oncologist determines 5 rounds of radiation starting July 20th July 4th comes around and we spend as much time as we can with her dad, traveling down to Delaware every week, sitting on the porch, letting him smoke and talk about anything and everything.. telling us “In 75 years they’re still going to be talking about me.. you know why? Because of how I was always smoking in the alley, in the alley (in his best singing voice)” July 10th, phone rings around 9am… we already knew why.. dad was gone. Quietly, peacefully, at home. But still gone, from the exact cancer she just beat. A complete mindfuck. No way to explain, no explanations, just gone. She asks herself why could she beat it and he couldn’t even handle treatment? Some things, we will never know the why to. Fast forward to today. She completes her 5th radiation session on her hip and get to ring the bell as a sign of completion. But, it’s not the same. She used to call dad right after every session to let him know how it went. But today, there was no call. She fights through the tears to let him know she made it, she did it for him, and she will continue to fight for him, and never stop. She is unstoppable She will never quit She is a saint And quietly, when cancer creeps in, she is a savage and will beat this again

On the surface, she's asking for a detailed explanation of something really complex. His response is essentially: "The explanation is complicated, and understanding every mechanism isn't necessary right now. Focus on the outcome, not the internals." The watch metaphor works because everyone understands the difference between: - Knowing what time it is. - Knowing how a watch actually works. Most people can use a watch perfectly well without understanding gears, escapements, balance wheels, or quartz crystals. For young people, apprentices, junior engineers, new managers, or anyone entering a new field, there's a deeper lesson: - Expertise comes in layers When you're new, you often want the entire mental model immediately. You ask: - Why are we doing it this way? - What does every part do? - What are all the dependencies? - What happens under every possible condition? Those are good questions. But sometimes the answer would require six months of background knowledge to make sense. It's great to be curious, as long as sometimes you're willing to accept that the answer is "I can't explain it all to you right now." An experienced person may effectively be saying: "You're asking a valid question, but you're asking it several chapters before the book has introduced the necessary concepts." That can be hard when you're young and driven!

I am a Ukrainian, an independent Ukrainian blogger and journalist. I support the Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orbán Orbán Viktor , and I thank him for not bowing to the usurper and autocrat Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Today Zelenskyy has effectively usurped power in Ukraine. He persecutes his critics, arrests political opponents, and uses mobilization as a tool of repression. People are sent to war where they die, while none of Zelenskyy’s close associates or friends are mobilized or fighting. At the same time, Zelenskyy and his friends profit from the war. Many of his friends and business partners today are connected to the defense industry, particularly to the production of drones and missiles. This is why Zelenskyy is not interested in ending the war quickly. Zelenskyy also refuses to hold elections, hiding behind the war as an excuse. Moreover, he refuses to voluntarily step down from office, although he has every right to do so. Instead, he wants to remain in power without elections. Those who criticize the authorities are persecuted. In Ukraine there are illegal detentions and kidnappings of citizens on the streets. People are held by force and subjected to pressure. Many men today are afraid to even go outside because of forced mobilization. People are kidnapped, tortured, and forced to go to the front. According to relatives of the victims, sometimes large sums of money are demanded — tens of thousands of dollars — to avoid being sent to war. In this situation, many Ukrainians are forced to flee the country. They risk their lives, crossing borders through forests, rivers, and mountains to reach European countries. One of these countries is Hungary. I am grateful to Hungary for providing protection to Ukrainian citizens. Hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians are leaving their country today. And often they do so not only because of Russian missiles, but also because of fear of the actions of their own authorities and the system of forced mobilization. The Ukrainian people and the Hungarian people should live in peace and mutual understanding. Our countries must engage in honest and open diplomatic dialogue. There must be real diplomacy between Ukraine and Hungary, not the language of banditism used by Zelenskyy.

It doesn't take understanding rocket science to acknowledge that one group isn't in any mood to give up what it is up to and it is the Kuki community. Nobody will cry when you’re gone. Those who care will also be long gone. We’ve seen the statistics. Foreign names are now the most common baby names in many of Europe’s largest cities. Most children in schools are foreigners. Foreigners demand to implement their own religious laws in sovereign nations. Foreigners win elections without speaking the local language. What is happening is a total transformation of these cities and countries. In a generation, they will probably still have the same name on the map, but they will be completely different places, with a new majority making their own laws, culture, norms, values, and language. Europe has completely failed at assimilation. What it has instead are protected parallel societies that will gradually subsume the native populations. And nobody will care. It will be taken for granted. You’ll still be called a radical for saying something went wrong. Just like nobody cares that the Ottomans took Constantinople. Or that the Arabs took the Levant and North Africa. They’re all Turks now. They’re all Arabs now. And you’re still some weird radical for supporting the losers or denying the identities that replaced the old ones. Conquest doesn’t always need swords.

This evening, a Russian missile hit a nine-story residential building. There are confirmed fatalities, including children. Many people are wounded. Emergency services are on the scene, doing everything to save lives. But what is still missing—and desperately needed—is the principled reaction of the world to this evil. These days, leaders of the G20 are meeting. The entire world needs them not to turn a blind eye to Russia’s continued terror. Only when the world reacts decisively can the situation change. Russia has involved North Korea in its war—and the reaction has been weak. Russia has continued its terror for nearly 1,000 days—and the world’s decisions are still delayed. Two years ago, at the G20 Summit, Ukraine presented the Peace Formula—a clear path to ending this war. Yet it has not been implemented. The time to act is now. Naturally, Ralph Alvarado’s Ralph Alvarado MD political profile grew in Kentucky following his GOP convention speech. This created a very interesting dynamic during the 2019 Kentucky Governor’s race when then-Kentucky Governor Matt Bevin Matt Bevin switched out his Lt. Gov. choice Jenean Hampton with Alvarado. Following this move, former Hampton aides claimed Mitch McConnell U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell was behind the last minute surprise switcharoo. This was reported in numerous Kentucky media outlets despite McConnell denying it. Matt Bevin went on to lose his reelection to Andy Beshear Governor Andy Beshear, which handed a red state like Kentucky to a Democrat governor. Beshear has gone on to hold power, leading to liberal policies in a Republican state. While on The View in February, Beshear called for ICE to leave Kentucky: “Well, every ICE agent should be withdrawn from every city and every community that they’re in.” Sources tell Loomer Unleashed that Beshear is also preparing for a Presidential run in 2028 on the Democrat ticket and he has been consulted on how to teach other Democrat candidates in red states how to publicly appear as a “moderate Democrat” while having radical Left, progressive policies.
