Maraji is being honest about her priorities. Not everyone measures fulfillment by traveling abroad, if she’s content and intentional, that’s what matters. Having the means doesn’t mean you’re obligated to follow what others see as “success.”

This is such a razz take sha. If you can afford to travel, travel. It expands your mind.

It is really not about peoples desires and dreams becoming yours, it's more about satisfaction where you are. Let's tell ourselves the truth, Nigerian's won't be crazy to travel out if everything were to be working for us. I mean, if i have a job that pays well, and the standard of living is good, and i get all i need here, why travel?

This is my kind of mindset, I crave travelling around Africa, outside no too hungry me.

Not wanting to travel outside Africa or have a big wedding because it's simply not your thing, yet worshipping a Middle Eastern God and thinking everyone needs to do same, just because it was popular in the region where you were born, is some impressive cognitive dissonance.

She’s found what works for her and she’s grounded herself in it. But beyond this, aspiration differs with people and if such is within the boundary of nobleness, it’s fine. Find what works for you, don’t get influenced by external factors, find peace and get understanding. Ire.
