Not only that. A bill passed the House with bipartisan support that would force AI data centers to create their own energy in order to build. It was on track to pass the Senate but one DemocRAT "Senator" objected to it. Which stalled it in the Senate.

And they somehow claim that they have a right nonetheless to go after non-treaty members and put heads of state and others in jail. We've long had quarrels with them and we have lunatics and crazies involved in the ICC that are talking about charging members of the US military, maybe even the president or a future president with crimes and this not gonna happen, it's just not going to happen. If people want to sign it and be a part of that stupid organization they can, but we're not going to be a part of it and they're not going to apply their jurisdiction to Americans. That's just not going to happen. We're not going to tolerate it, now or in the future and we've warned them about it repeatedly. And now they're going to see the consequences of ignoring us.

And we are trying to implement all that we can, make use of the technology not only in governance, but in everything that we come across, be it health, be it education, be it livestock, be it agriculture. Only this morning I had a meeting with Huawei, and I had meetings with Alibaba. And I am very eager to learn from their AI medical interventions. I think the narrative on AI is very much that occurred when television went to color and everybody said it would wipe out radio. It didn't happen. It's a tool. It's a tool for productivity and margin enhancement. It's just starting to get utilized in all 11 sectors of the economy. My companies use it. But it's nowhere near the disruptor that people think. I'm more concerned about Chinese on AI because they have unlimited power. They are not restricted to set up coal-burning electrical plants. We can't do that. AI right now, for me, is a competition on defense and the military in China. I worry that we're falling behind the Chinese on power on our grid, and we haven't addressed it yet. We do not have policy that lets us build out at the same pace they are.
