It's OK for Protestants to pray for the next Pope so long as they are praying that the next Pope would embrace the Solas of the Reformation. Short of that, I'm praying that the next Pope is as WOKITY WOKE as can possibly be imagined. The more lib-tard the better.

No care or even a prayer for the Gospel a pope may have… just political ethical expectations as central?! Tells you all you need to know about this ‘movement’, ‘tribe’ or whatever you want to call it. Run from this until the Gospel is right and truly back at the centre again.

Pray if you like, but I'm hearing pragmatism as your reason, and I'm out. I'm hopeful the RCC gets another Francis and their argument about succession and whatnot collapses under the weight. Sifting and disillusionment are the first steps to the Biblical truth.

As a saved Christian will never pray to or for a false religion that preaches a false gospel for salvation…

We should totally pray for someone who takes the place of Christ, as intercessor, for thousands of deluded Christian’s(?) as long as he’s hopefully good on a couple key points…?🙄 Seriously! How about praying that Catholics come to Christ and reject an anti-Christ!

This error is as old as 325AD when the factions of Orthodoxy over threw the Apostolic tradition of Local Church, and Congregational election of Elders. Look up the scandal of Alexander of Alexandria, look up the cannons. There should have never been a Pope. Only Chief elders

What I expected: Let us pray that the new Pope will lead to reforms in Catholic doctrine focusing on grace and the Gospel. What I got: Let us pray the new Pope preserves the white race from the Jews and their Muslim puppets. My expectations were pretty low...
