Easy to say difficult implement. Making it sound that simple is misleading. Without strong enforcement, the rich can move assets offshore or restructure income to dodge higher rates. If done clumsily, it could discourage investment or drive some businesses and high earners abroad like it already has under Labour. The UK tax code is already dense, and changes need to be precise to actually capture wealth effectively.
