Read Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir. Yes the film is good, but the book actually teaches you physics in a way your can understand it. It’s a must have for teenagers.

I go through spurts where I’ll tear through 3-4 books in a few months (which is fast for me), then completely fall off for half a year. But this is very inspirational Chris. Just what I need to get out of my current slump

Yes, reading (esp like you w/broad range) will open and expand your mind which expands your ability to think and use language to express yourself accurately in expanded ways which gives you confidence that affects your whole life. Thanks for saying all this. You're so right.

Exactly. Worldly experience and insights! Bravo to you! I read a book every single day as a kid. I went to the library often. I learned so much. I chose stenography as a profession - It came easy to me - I had already seen so many words!

My favorite thing about reading is that I can set the scene (if they don't), the voices, how the sky looks. And for other books, I can learn new words. The biggest thing is to overlay what I am reading and apply it to my life and the world which is what I think you are saying. :)

A little late to the conversation…but because of you I read Lonesome Dove, longest book I ever read. It was so intense I had to put it down, take my Puppy on a short walk, then pick it up again..I couldn’t bear to see a character hurt. So invested in them all!
