Man decided to propose to his girlfriend in a mall, but she said NO and walked out of the scene. The lady felt embarrassed after her boyfriend proposed to her in a public mall. She pleaded with him to get up and not embarrass her at that moment, but when she saw that he kept insisting, she angrily walked away. Hans von Bülow's #Bechstein in Beijing. I was profoundly moved to be able to play a little #Liszt and a tiny bit of #Wagner on this instrument owned by one of the greatest and most influential musicians of the 19th century. He was Liszt's son-in-law (Cosima's first husband) and the one divorced by her to marry Wagner. He not only conducted the first performances of Tristan and Meistersinger (he bore no grudge against the music) but he played the first performance of the #Tchaikovsky First Piano Concerto in Boston. Not to mention the first public performance of the LISZT SONATA! A giant.

Another video from the Epstein files has surfaced where a girl can be seen sitting in a helicopter smiling.. She had no idea what was going to happen to her later.. But after a short time she was reportedly treated in a very cruel and disturbing way.. On the other side her family says that she has never been found and there has been no trace of her till today.. Hearing this is deeply heartbreaking and raises many painful questions.. Her family keeps asking why they still have not received justice and why those responsible have not been held accountable..?

In 2005 a piano teacher in the United States and her husband were upstairs in their house when they heard the piano going downstairs. The same note, struck over and over. They thought someone had broken in. They ran down and found their cat, a grey tabby called Nora, alone on the bench, hammering at one key with her right paw. She looked up at them, then went back to it. The cat had taught herself. Nora’s owner Betsy gave piano lessons in that room every day. Over the months Nora had watched, and at some point decided she’d have a go. None of the other six cats in the house ever touched the piano. Only Nora. She had preferences. She’d only play one specific Yamaha. She gravitated to a particular range of notes in the middle of the keyboard. She refused to play if she couldn’t sit properly on the bench, and if a student annoyed her Betsy would shift the bench back a foot and Nora would simply quit for the day. A video of Nora went up on YouTube in 2007 and got 17 million views. The Times of London compared her playing to a mix of Philip Glass and free jazz. America’s National Science Foundation, the country’s main scientific research body, put her in a museum exhibit on animal behaviour. In 2009 a composer in Lithuania scored a full orchestral concerto around her recordings. It premiered live with a chamber orchestra in Lithuania, with Nora’s playing on a screen above them. They called it CATcerto. Most animals who do impressive things have been trained. Nora wasn’t. She picked it up by watching, which is observational learning, and it’s rare in cats. Dogs do it more often. Cats usually don’t bother copying us at all. Nora passed peacefully in 2024, on her favourite blanket, aged 19.

Some Brahms to close out Monday night. This is from the first movement of his second piano concerto. From the exposition of the themes - it features some conversation between the piano soloist and the full orchestra. The dynamic of the soloist and the orchestra adds an extra dramatic element that I like in contrast with a symphony. I used to do a lot of posts and threads on music, but they never made a splash beyond a certain hardcore group of enthusiasts. But I still like to put it out there, try to stir interest.

Happy Birthday to "The Queen of Speed" and rallying royalty, Michèle Mouton. Mouton didn't only just compete in arguably the most dangerous era of motorsport - Group B #rally, but she was challenger to the great Walter Röhrl for the Drivers' Championship in 1982. She went on to win four #WRC rallies and 162 stages over a 12-year career. We had the privilege of seeing her at #FOS in 1999 where she wasted no time in hurling this Group B Audi Quattro S2 up the Goodwood Hill — and what a run it was!

🍼 Imagine finding out you’re pregnant and then having your baby the same day. That’s what happened to this mom… This woman and her husband went on a 20-mile bike ride… four days later she was in the ER thinking she had a kidney stone… and discovered she was NINE MONTHS pregnant. Beautiful things happened in Prague. I learnt a song and sang it in Czech... the singer of the song happened to be in the crowd!!! Lucky for me she agreed to join me on stage the next night so we could sing it together ~ I love when things like this happen. What a wonderful two nights in Prague and what a beauty of a city she is!! I loved a little post show nightseeing too🤍🤍

This USO footage is a perfect example of the real Meghan Markle. Front and centre, yet talentless, insecure, and completely out of her depth. She has no trouble planting herself in the spotlight, just to be actively ignored by everybody else on this stage. They avoided her like a plague, no eye contact and even moved away when she tried to pull them in in pathetic move to make it seem as if she is part of the group. It’s not subtle. She’s there, but she’s not included. And then come the familiar tells. The fixed, rictus grin, the awkward mirroring of others in a painfully obvious attempt to blend in.
