"It's probably going to be on their consciences, rather than a matter for the criminal law." Jonathan Hall KC – the independent reviewer of terrorism laws – discusses whether punk act Bob Vylan could be prosecuted for chanting 'death to the IDF' at Glastonbury. #R4Today

Except @BobbyVylan never used the word “Jews”. What Jonathan Hall KC should be saying is “if he knew there were IDF soldiers in the audience”, but he won’t say that because it will show how disingenuous and contrived both the political outrage and the police investigation are.

What should be on your conscience, @BBCr4today , and that of every legacy media outlet, is that you haven't condemned Israel for its genocide. You have the blood of a million Palestinians killed or injured on your hands.

If this guy, who is clearly not an impartial actor in any sense, had a good argument, he would not need to keep lying about what was said. No one said “death to the Jews,” they said death to a genocidal institution. This is Hall btw:

I find it extraordinary that there’s such a fuss. Particularly from a Labour government. People do stupid things at festivals. Prosecution? And as for designating the paint sprayers as terrorists, my heart sinks that we have got here. And in Gaza they queue for food and get shot.

Why aren't we prosecuting British citizens who fight with the IDF when they return to the UK? The IDF has shown itself to be merciless in slaughtering hundreds of thousands of Palestinians. Targeting children, hospitals, journalists. Taking thousands hostage in torture prisons.

What is on most people's consciences is Israel's slaughter of Palestinians. What happened on 7 October in no way justifies genocide. And the disgusting disgusting videos I've seen of IDF soldiers prancing round in women's underwear...Gazan womens underwear. 🤢 Sick

Seriously, get a fucking grip. The IDF blew up a fucking cafe yesterday fgs - pure evil - and you’re running with the completely vacuous fantasies of this bellend.

My conscience would be more than clear

Interesting that he assumed the “audience” was confined to those physically present, not the millions watching on TV.

“Shameful & a disgrace that the media is focusing on this…” #r4today
