The successful operation in #Ijara was not a walk in the park with the current wet season. Our dedicated officers endured heavy rain and flooding to smoke out #AlShabaab militants from their hideout. This is an indication that not even the vagaries of the weather can deter ongoing Multi-Agency Security operations against AlShabaab. Security personnel deserve a pat on the back for sacrificing their comfort to keep Kenyans safe from security threats like terrorism.
