People forget that the oath ceremony is the final step, not the first. If your home country is on a federal watch or blacklist, extra screening isn’t discrimination, it’s national security protocol. The goal is to prevent security threats, including espionage or foreign interference, from slipping through the final step of citizenship. This isn’t personal it’s policy
