Such an ingeniously frustrating scenario. Homer was already in a universe that seemed 99% perfect for him, and all he had to do was stay a few seconds longer to discover that it was actually 100%. Perhaps there’s even an allegory in there about life and the choices we make.
This was always one of my favorite scenes. I’ll always love this one. Thank you.
