Dan we’ve been SCREAMING at 3rd/4th and 1 from the shotgun all season. For a struggling offense there is nothing more infuriating. Get the first down. Under center, Josh could basically lean forward for a first.

Short yardage against THAT front…very curious why Josh didn’t just can that into inside zone and sleep like a baby last night 🤷🏼‍♂️

Up until this season, when the Bills coaches took away Josh’s right to run, he tucks this 65% of the time, right as the RT is about to lose, and squirts up through the gap and secures an easy first down. But nope, not anymore, since Josh isn’t allowed to scramble.

Listening to you consistently break this down week after week and say the same things makes us feel better that we aren’t crazy. There’s a good chance an OC position opens up soon…please take it.

I agree with you! I’ve never liked a shotgun play in short yardage situations.
