It's really impressive how the flashlight works in the pre-rendered enviroments of Alone in the Dark The New Nightmare for the PS1, it even reflects when you're in a nearby mirror

The Art of Flight is a homage to 80s/90s arcade action shmups with a fresh twist on the genre. Pilot multiple ships at the same time to take on oncoming waves of enemies in this fast paced space shooter. Wishlist on Steam today!

Very curious to know how it's implemented. I know vertex colors on PS1 can both brighten and darken, so I wonder if all of them are by default kinda darkened and then brightened by things like the flashlight.

Adoro Alone in the Dark, esse jogo é ótimo Pena não ter tido sequências, recomendo emular o de Dreamcast, melhor versão

You know I hear everyone love the original, shit on the newest ones (minus the newest reboot), and there's just this awkward child in the middle. Like is it even good, bad, I've heard nothing about it but it keeps comming up somehow.

Yea! The way it basically uses a cookie cutter trick to display the lit areas is super impressive.

Still love that game on ps2. Even though it's kinda cheesy, but the atmosphere is absolutely great 👌🏻 I think the pc version has higher res backgrounds?

PC and Dreamscast are highres, the PS2 version runs in 240p
