Honestly so many people have been affected by the storm. It’s sad to see and it will take a while for people to recover from this.

If this is the first time, the people will be in shock for a while. They have lost everything. It’s very traumatizing. I hope they have a lot of support.

We're all struggling, whether we run a small shop or own a home. We're just hoping the UAE government will show us some kindness. They're helping out in Africa and the Middle East with its red crescent, so why not help us residents here too?

Almost 2 years since the same community was trying to get the developer to stop their houses leaking and now this. The government must intervene, take action and help these people get justice. #dubairain

Poor buggers that must rip their hearts out, I bet the smell after a few days will be horrendous as this wont just be nice clean rain water.

This is really upsetting. Hoping all the families affected by recent adverse weather conditions get their lives back in order soon..
