It’s remarkable that a scene can hit this hard with no dialogue whatsoever.

Everything we did to them was justified

The Promentory is my most listened to song on Spotify of all time

It’s incredible.

For the nine months leading up to the filming of this movie Daniel Day Lewis actually killed over 4,000 natives

Be honest, the music is also carrying this (already intense) scene

The part where Hawkeye reloads on the run is actually realistic many expert frontier scouts mastered the skill and it allowed them to take on multiple Indians at once by firing than fleeing and reloading than firing again. Lewis Wetzel used it to save his life multiple times

The last 15 minutes of this movie is possibly the finest cinema ever made

Great scene, flawed film

We used this song for our wedding party's walkout. I think this movie might be the best romantic movie ever made

This is a truly a movie to “get lost” in. Every time I watch it. The scale of the scenes, the gravity of the interactions, constantly simmering. Dialogue or not, the world and setting just take you off your feet, it’s that immersive and historic. An ode to America’s stolen heart.

Last of the Mohicans (1992) Mute accounts that don’t post title in order to bait engagement.

It’s the music; one of the finest movie scores, ever.

Top 3 film of all time

So glad seeing people re-discover this one. Probably my favorite movie.

The actor who plays the Native American chief asked Daniel Day-Lewis for an autograph, which he readily agreed to. Then the actor who plays the Native American chief told him, "With your left foot!"

Excellent film. I also always suspected it had some influence on Pirates of the Caribbean, though I have no evidence for that at all; there's a bit of a similar dynamic there with Hawkeye/Cora/Heywood and Will/Elizabeth/Norrington

My favorite all-time movie and the soundtrack amazes too!

She really didn't like Italians, huh?

Makes me cry every gd time

Filmed in one of the most beautiful places in the world.

A top-5 movie. A great score can go a long way. Conan the Barbarian, for example. Arnold says like 25 words the whole film. But Basil Poledorous tells the story with a brilliant score.

@OldRowSwig It is one of the best scenes ever made.

One of very few movies i can watch again and again. Wes Studi was a standout. The ambush after the British abandon the fort was so well done.

Dances with wolves is in my top 10 favorite movies of all time

i mean don’t forget the five minutes before and after this scene

Chimney Rock State Park, NC

One of the best films of its decade. Hard to see it could be made today in todays climate.

What movie is this?

Haunted my childhood

Films today just can't STFU.

I'm going to have my son watch this movie with me this weekend. He's 13, I think hes ready

One of my favorite movies and soundtrack of the 90's. So good.

This running up the mountain sequence, a girl with no hope, a man trying to protect her, a father trying to protect his son, Daniel Day Lewis trying to protect them all while pain and loss ripple through the scene and the music keeps building. Top 100 all time movie moment.

This movie is amazing, very surprised I don’t see more love for it on this app

I played that album and my father's funeral
