As the Islamic Republic commits mass atrocities against the Iranian people, it is cutting internet access and phone lines to hide its crimes. The U.S. must act now to assess direct-to-cell connectivity and deploy 2025 NDAA-authorized funding to expand internet freedom in Iran.

An Iranian army service member has called on President Trump for direct military intervention, saying the Iranian military would support overthrowing the Islamic Republic. “Mr. President of the United States, we in the military, along with the Iranian people, are waiting for you to help save us and free us from this oppressive regime so we can build a free and strong Iran. We want to Make Iran Great Again (MIGA).” The regime’s brutality and inhumanity, seen in the #IranMassacre, has pushed many Iranians to see foreign intervention as the only remaining way to remove the Islamic Republic.

The Iranian people are dying for their freedom. They are protesting against a brutal and despotic regime that has oppressed its people for nearly five decades. The Iranian regime is a hostile state and a threat to the UK. Words and statements from the government are not enough. The UK Government needs to act now and back the people of Iran.

Waiting for Hezbollah, Houthis, and Hamas to attack the Islamic Republic to free us from oppression. Why aren’t they doing that? Could there be some other motivation for their actions, other than terrorists being the most empathetic people in the world?
