Calling this a "prediction" skips that Thiel has a direct financial stake in AI moving fast and unregulated, this is the argument someone in his position would make regardless of whether it's true The framing also can't be wrong, any regulation gets read as proof of the plot and any lack of regulation gets read as evidence he was right all along

Jesus Christ will tell anyone what’s coming with personal instructions concerning it: John 16:13. IF in a proper relationship to Him. His source is better than Thiel’s.

Peter Thiel on the Antichrist and the risk of a totalitarian one-world state: Thiel says a totalitarian one-world state would be a "tyrannical, single government that controls the entire world, that turns the entire planet into a prison from which there is no escape." "It'd be far worse than North Korea because you could still get out of North Korea." "How does the Antichrist convince the entire world to surrender and let this one-world government take over?" "The Antichrist comes to power by talking about Armageddon nonstop, by talking about existential risk nonstop." "I'll pick an AI example: Eliezer Yudkowsky wrote this book in fall of 2025: If Anyone Builds It, Everyone Dies." You are supposed to surrender to the one-world state." "If you outlaw it in the US, it'll be built in China. If you outlaw it in China and the US, it can be built in South Africa. "He sort of told us he was not scared of nuclear weapons, and it was not enough to contain communism. You needed to roll communism back. And if you put him in charge—he was from Hungary—he would send the tanks into Hungary right away. He was not scared of nuclear weapons." "This was two years before, you know, um, the Eastern bloc fell without firing a shot." "I am not pro-Dr. Teller. I'm not pro-Dr. Strangelove, none of these things. But the perspective I want to give you is that that's not the danger in our society." "The threat is much more someone like Greta or her fellow travelers."
