Doc Rivers and Bill Simmons on Giannis to Miami: Bill: For him, Miami is the one I can’t figure out unless they have other moves. It’s him and Bam and you traded everybody else, where are you going? Doc: And you would’ve traded your closer because Tyler Herro is a closer. Say what you want about him, but he’s a straight up closer. University of Houston baseball coach Todd Whitting expects he'll meet with AD Eddie Nunez soon, possibly as early as today, as his future is decided. Whitting to PaperCity Magazine on if he's thought that this could be it, that this game could have been his last as UH's coach: "Till I'm not the head baseball coach here, I am. I love this university. I love the people in it. "Those guys on the field. The coaching staff. All those people sitting up in the stands. It's a great place. It's a great university. It has great leadership. I look forward to seeing what's ahead at the University of Houston."

Seconds after full-time in Port Harcourt …the Stadium erupted into a frenzy as the prank had it that Ikorodu had equalized vs Enugu Rangers … You have to feel for Coach Finidi..his players and fans who thought the title had come at the death !! Alas ..it wasn’t to be ! Congratulations Rangers International FC 🏆 … For the Pride of Rivers Rivers United FC ..you have again fought to the max …carrying the weight of the country on the Continent as per usual …Congratulations too and better luck next season 👏🏽 #NPFL26

Maybe my voice is just a broken record, and guys are just tired, and guys might tend to do what they want to do." "But as a leader it doesn't matter. Being a leader is like the same thing as being a dad, you just gotta keep on being available and consistent with your words and your actions, over and over and over again and one day you hope that the message is going to go through. When I was 15, and my dad was telling me stuff, I didn't realize what he was talking about until I was like 21, 22, and then you go back and you're like 'oh, that's what he meant', but we don't have 7 years. We're halfway through the season. It's either now or never, so hopefully the next couple of games we can turn things around and if not, go home."

Over the next few weeks we will be conducting a Meet the Coaches series, getting to know our assistant coaches, football operations team, and recruiting team. A Head Coach is only as effective as his staff, and I must say I am fortunate. Isaiah Taylor join my staff was blessing any time you can add another former WINNING Head coach to the staff is a blessing. Coach is coaching our WR but brings so much more coordinating our passing game as well As development. Coach is 1/4 former head coaches on the staff bring knowledge and perspective that helps me on and off the field.
