Compare Sam Cane's dignity with Tom Curry's behaviour.

Not sour grapes....but....oh Fossie. NZ really have to deal better with losing. As an Irishman I was disappointed with how they reacted in their win against Ireland. Im not feeling much sorrow for them now.

That is a class response from Sam Cane. A proper mature, manly response, in the face of incredibly raw disappointment. Respect.

With 14 men 🇳🇿 nearly took it from us. As a 🇿🇦 you guys are bloody amazing. Losing isn’t nice but as a nation be proud of your guys, they gave it 100% out there

These two are the reason why NZ is not #1. Nice to see the end to this long nightmare.

Feel gutted for Sam Cane - a great bloke and player but as soon as I saw it there was no doubt it was going to be red! Difficult because it happened so quickly but yep it was shoulder to head with no real mitigation

Don't be Sad... It's Always Awesome to see World Champions Play Each Other... 🏆🍻

Kia Kaha Sammy, your still one of the greats in my eyes mate 💯🇳🇿 just wrong side of the coin, but we will be back bigger, better and stronger.

We respect you. You all played with heart, and you are always our fiercest and most respected rivals.

It’s rough. Feel sorry for him but it was a dangerous tackle. He will come back a stronger player and leader (if he continues with both).
