Have you ever run into foliage flickering issues when rendering cinematics with Lumen? In my case, I found that Ray Tracing doesn’t work too well with foliage, so I had to turn it off, because there is no way for me to make it work

@Ilies_visuals I have. I haven’t spent too much time with the new mega lights using it. Maybe it will solve some of those issues. But yeah… it can definitely be annoying. In some of @WillFaucherVFX videos he addresses this issue.

I really is. After 5 years using Unreal after switching from Octane and Redshift I keep expecting to be used to it by now, but it still blows my mind every day.

It gets me every time. haha dude I remember watching stuff from you waaay back then. I was just too nervous about jumping in. But for what I do, it's pretty simple and works well for the most part. 🙂

Octane would take 5 hours to render one frame like this 😭😅 I left some stills rendering overnight that still had noise after many hours so as someone who loves fog I lvoe this hahaha
