Move over OR slow down.

Virginia's "Move Over" law requires drivers to change lanes or slow down when passing any stationary vehicle with flashing red, blue, or amber lights, or activated hazard lights, on the side of the road. Drivers must proceed with caution, change lanes if safe, and reduce speed.

1. parking ON the road probably wasn't the best choice by the officer. 2. its move over OR proceed cautiously. once the officer caused the bottleneck so people were passing that slow no reason to slam on the brakes like that

I think people know the law. They are just very, very ignorant of it which is unfortunate.

We have more reckless drivers than ever in America. Some seem oblivious to the dangers. They fail to pull to the left or right when an emergency lighted vehicle has stopped. And most are going over the speed limit considerably. They seem dumbed-down & apathetic.

How is this allowed to happen? Where is the D.A.’s concern for the innocent citizens of #FairfaxCounty? My heart goes out to the Fairfax County police; you must be beleaguered to say the least. 🙂‍↔️ #illegimmigration
