“It’s the lighting” exactly. if the camera exposure is already set really high, then the person or object being photographed will look much lighter, especially with extra lighting or flash. so the question is: why exactly they do that for??😭😭

It looks like the game only renders correctly when DLSS is enabled and the internal resolution is below 1080p. Above that threshold, a lighting pass is missing. This explains why DLSS doesn’t perform as expected at 1440p or lower, since performance is impacted by the extra lighting pass. It also matches why Digital Foundry saw a bigger boost, since they tested DLSS at 4K. and It explains why DLAA looks worse than DLSS Quality at 1440p or below. if you are making an isometric 3D game, one of the easiest and highest impact improvement to lighting you can make is to take your lighting rig, and shove it inside the camera hierarchy. It gives a consistent lighting from all angles! no idea why it took me so long to do this
