It's such an exciting time to be an artist on the internet. We now have the technology to build out our worlds, in spaces we own, it is truly the age of ideas. I've built a new home for my projects here, and in advance of my next major release with Transient Labs on June 16th, I want to share what I've made with you all, and open a dialogue about how we can use these tools as artists to enhance the experience of making and sharing our art. This is an overview of davekrugman dot com (link in thread), specifically about new sites for Drip Drop and DRIVE, and to that end, I'll give a work from each project to someone who reshares this post. If you are an artist who is curious on how to build a site for yourself, I would be happy to help, I'm an open book, ask me in the comments below. There are so many tools to use- I mostly used Claude / Anthropic- and now we can literally speak our ideas into reality , the possibilities feel truly infinite, if you have curiosity, patience, and a bit of time to explore a new frontier. For too long, artists have had to build on the rented space of social platforms, and now it feels like we can really create sovereign spaces that we own and make ours with our unique vision. We watched as our participants left the conema carrying not just memories, but the laughter we freely shared, the tears we quietly held space for, and the love that filled every corner of the room. This event would not have been possible without the love and effort of so many incredible people, and we would like to take this moment to express our deepest gratitude. First and foremost, to our MikBrent Global Family, thank you for organizing this very special screening and for thoughtfully preparing all the amazing freebies for our attendees. Your love traveled from different parts of the world just to be felt here, and it is truly something we will never take for granted. Your unwavering support for MikBrent and your genuine love for MENTies made this event a reality. The Niceaunties AI Video Grant At Fellowship, we believe in creating an environment for experimentation and the development of ideas. That is why, when niceaunties proposed a grant program for mentorship and the creation of AI videos, we immediately said yes. The program will help support six artists, to create a Solo Show for the Fellowship Daily program. The commitment is to produce 8 new videos based on a theme proposed by Niceaunties. This will be an open call for all the Daily Artists and the AI video community at large. Everyone is welcome to reply/submit a video for consideration. Each grantee will receive a total of 2ETH provided by Niceaunties and Fellowship, as well as mentorship from Niceaunties and alejandro cartagena. We encourage artists applying to consider this grant as a space of critical feedback and of experimentation. Artists are encouraged to be open to new ideas and to explore alternative ways of how to think of their practice. These funds and curatorial support are there to open up time for the creators to engage and create a space ideal for critical feedback. We believe that developing an artistic voice comes from experimentation and confrontation of ideas. All 8 pieces produced during the month will be auctioned on the daily . xyz site as a one-day Solo Show. All proceeds of the sales will go to the artists. But if we want to keep our credit card processors and not deplatform everyone (like other sites just did) then we need to play by their rules. That sucks and we are sorry about that. We use adult processors, so we have a lot fewer restrictions than the other sites that are deplatforming ALL NSFW content.
