The conversation is he has to play super man to win to cover Greg Romans dreadful play calling. Fire Greg Roman. They tried a play action on 4th and 9 with 2 min left. The defense know you are not going to run the ball. Greg Roman is the problem.

Herbert was bad but this is 95% a Roman issue. 2 playoff games with him as OC abd 15 points scored. Until Roman is gone we are never winning a playoff game. Period

To be fair, why did you have expectations of a deep playoff run this year, with this terrible line? What happened tonight is unfortunately what was supposed to happen. The better team won. Herbert wasn't great but he was their leading rusher and was getting bludgeoned all game.

4 offensive play callers. lmfao how is this on herbert. WRs dropping passes, WRs getting no separation, greg roman play calling sucks, 4 throws in the red zone to nobody open, running for his life, his LINE SUCKS, no interceptions. hero ball strategy everytime isn’t going to work

Greg roman called like 2 screens all game, went play action on 4th and 9, didnt call a single run play when the offense was like 5 yards from the goal line after the INT. Roman gave herbert no options if the top was covered. No checkdowns. Just basically hold the ball or run.

Herbert did plenty to win that JAX game. D lost that one. Herb didn’t give up a 27 pt lead or whatever it was. Herb needed to be on tonight and just wasn’t. We were never gonna make a deep run with this team we needed to win tonight. BUT ROMAN HAS TO GO!!!

See this is where average fans need to wake the fuck up. I get it, we’ve seen Herbert be elite and elevate atrocious offensive rosters/coaching his entire year, but this is not a winning strategy in the playoffs. Hero ball almost never results in a playoff run.

I sent a message to a long life friend (who also happens to a be a Chargers fan) after the game. There I said “ I want Herbert traded. I do not want to be part of a fandom that ruins the career of such a great player.” I will always be a Chargers fan, but Herbert deserves better.

I’m a Pat’s fan live 20 minutes from Gillette. Herbert is solid and can be great. That offensive line was the difference and his weapons are aging
