Everything was so normal but the clock was ticking

Last hours of normal world.....but TV was beautiful, with an atmosphere that current stations lack.

Amazing that the debate back then was whether or not a woman should get the death penalty for killing her children. Now we debate if she should be punished at all.

Crazy that the news is either predicting the future (World Trade Centers, calling 9-1-1, “Too Quiet”) and/or taking about the same things 25 years later (Dolly Parton reference, women killing her kids). All we need is Michael Jordan to come back again.

Its hard to believe what a normal mundane Tuesday morning can turn into total hell within a couple of hours

Yes it was quiet. Was working for Delta Airlines at the time. Flew to CVG for business, was walking the streets from the hotel to the office. The most perfect Sept day it was! Walked in, lunch room at a massive plasma screen, thought it was a movie at first. 😢

We don’t say “quiet” in healthcare because as soon as we do, all heck breaks loose. Maybe the rule should apply to the media as well.

How ironic when it ends wirh the guy saying “it’s kinda quiet”. So surreal to watch and know that they had no idea our lives would be forever changed that day.

I remember Bush being on that tour at the elementary schools in Florida during the attacks and my kindergarten teacher showing us the live news of him reading to other kids in Florida at a different school—-then it switched to the live news of the towers being hit. 💔 A sad day.
