"You should not, as a hardworking Floridian, have to subsidize some of the wealthiest companies in the history of humanity," DeSantis said. "They need to foot the bill." The new law prevents utilities from passing infrastructure costs to residents and keeps local zoning control in the hands of the community, not tech giants.

I understand Speaker Johnson prefers to avoid attacking fellow Republicans, but this behavior is unacceptable and undermines the GOP’s integrity. I urge the Speaker to take meaningful action.
