Are they speaking Yoruba, cos I can hear 60% of what they are saying.

As a Yoruba person, I can understand what they are saying 😄. Itsekiri is much closer to Yoruba

Languages is an interesting concept. Just the intonation is what made it a bit different, yet, it could have been a dialect like the Ekitis or Ijebus. Another intonation I hear is the Benins… but the words definitely sound Yoruba.

Itsekiri dialect is a mixture of Ondo,ikale,ilaje... An average Ondo, Ikale,Ilaje,owo,Akure understand itsekiri dialect and they understands our too... Na Una dey surprise.
