Because I don’t think I’d be happy if I were loved without working hard. Then this time, after consistently working hard for 8 years, I received love, and only then, when I felt it myself, I realized, “Woah, I’m really being loved right now.” So I’m grateful that it turned out that way. If I hadn’t worked hard and had just gotten by on talent, and if I had just gotten lucky, I don’t think I would’ve been that happy. So I’m just going to keep doing what I’ve been doing and keep working hard consistently. You all recognize it/notice it (my efforts), actually - so that’s what I’m grateful for. It’s also important that I acknowledge my own efforts, but I’m really grateful when other people acknowledge my efforts too. And the sense of fulfillment I get from that is really big too. Today is my second day in Hong Kong (FM). I'm really happy, so happy to be able to come home. Actually, I really hope that if time or my schedule allows, I can stay a few more days. 2024 🐿️ : But, Being a Doran fan, must be hard. And it's not like you support me because you have lots of free time. You all are busy, yet you make time to watch my matches and cheer for me. So while you're supporting me, I hope you don't end up emotionally exhausted or hurting because of it. I can't honestly say, "Starting next match, I'll get POG every time." I'm not in a position to promise that. But, If one day you get tired of cheering for me, Then someday, before I retire, I hope you'll look me up again and see how I'm doing. I still believe that before I retire, I'll achieve something I can truly be proud of. I have that confidence. It's just taking longer than I expected. So someday, I'll stand there with confidence.
