Ivan Tsarevich and the Gray Wolf (2011) - Gray Wolf

>decided to rewatch it >they meet yellow "magic ball" >he knows everything russian verity

my Russian friends tell me the words on his head was a google maps reference. I had never heard of this movie until a few days ago, and it turns out a lot of Russians know about it, and there's even 6 sequels

@katoytochel Its Russia's Alpha and Omega ohno

@katoytochel noooooo that feels like an insult!!!! lol

The whole movie is based on untranslatable puns I have no idea how can people watch it in English

For a Wolf like him he sure makes a good 4th Wall Story telling.

his face, lmfao

Full thing is on YouTube

That ear piercing will make a lot of furries drool. Smug top material 💯

You cutted it in the way that it looks like he is died in the end lol

I gave him an honorable death, so people don't know he was one of those humans that was turned into a wolf, and doesn't appreciate the gift.

@BorderlineBeast Except he wasn't actually a human who turned into a wolf, tho...

@BorderlineBeast I only saw the first movie, he doesn't really go into detail on what he was. Do they explain it later? I just don't like it when a character is turned into a furry, and their whole goal is undoing it.

I love this scene

Wolf was genuinely the best character in the series. Change my mind

the facial expressions alone is frying me

This legendary cartoon is the reason I became a furry.

ngl i had a huge unexplainable crush on this wolf as a kid, might've peaked emotionally at age 7 watching this

If anyone wants to watch it, only the first part is really good, the other 4 or 5 cartoons are real trash.

hear me out

THE AMERICANS ARE FINDING OUR CARTOONS FUCK FUCK FUCK

I recognize that style, are they the same artists that made this cartoon?

new russian furries btw cartoon name is "Toothy Nanny," and it's based on the fairy tale "The Wolf and the Seven Little Goats." wolf's name is Maurice Volkonsky, and the mother goat's name is Cosette

This is so charming

the goofy expressions alone are honestly making me lose it

As a kid, cartoons about Ivan Tsarevich didn't really click with me, but over the distance of many years, they seem like very worthy cartoons indeed.
