This right here is EXACTLY why so many Star Wars fans are frustrated with this show… You can’t just shriek in anger and have a kyber crystal bleed red. There’s a whole deliberate ritual involved, because kyber crystals are naturally aligned with the light side of the Force. They’re not just going to change color on a whim — they resist the dark side. Even Vader had to physically struggle through the process; it literally slammed him against a wall. And traditionally, a Sith is supposed to claim their crystal by taking it from a Jedi they’ve killed. That’s part of the legacy and what makes the weapon personal. On top of all that… the saber Osha picks up shouldn’t even be functional. The emitter’s gone, the housing is wrecked, the crystal itself is cracked and sticking out — it’s clearly in no condition to ignite. Yet the blade ignites, and she looks completely dumbfounded that it turned red — like it’s informing her she’s a dark side user now (like some sort of mood ring)? It’s so unearned and absolutely laughable. Even if you could look past one of those details, it’s still heavily outweighed by the others. NONE of it tracks.
