I’ve always believed Richard Madeley would make an excellent Conservative MP. Suave, handsome & full of sensible ideas. Here he is advocating that bosses should be allowed to spy on employees who work from home. After all those who do work at home are just LAZY, skiving toerags!

I fear that will never happen, Sir Michael, he might worry that similar cameras are placed in the supermarket wine and spirits aisles.

True Sir, ITV keep Saint Madeley in a “special” room before going on air so that his tag doesn’t mess up the sound check. Richard survived a difficult birth when the midwife threw the wrong bit away. A perfect Tory. I blame Meghan, Shoplifters and Corbyn.

We need people like Madeley, to remind us that being stupid and unpleasant doesn’t preclude a career in television.

Good idea Personally, I would like to see everyone fitted with a body camera Even good King Charles, certainly every MP, and of course all those billionaires Then all decent people could prove their worth We would be able to see what sort of value for money we actually get.

I worked from home since lock down until dec 24 believe you and me in my job it was much harder and less distracting than being in an open plan office with phones going all the time and convos etc. much more stressful! So he is talking shite!

Sir, it’s total sense from him. In our day, we tied our workers to a chair. We gave them a bucket for bladder relief and for ‘do do’. And we put our children up chimneys. This is what made us great. 🇬🇧👊

Bravo Dick! Sir M, Cameras would expose all this flexible, virtual, hybrid, agile, remote, off grid, blended, nomadic, cloud-based, shed, condensed hrs as Bargain Hunt & A Place in the Sun We need Hands-on in-situ working, like Sven, where thankfully, there aren’t any cameras 😉
