I’ve always defended Ødegaard when he was criticized for underperforming. My view was clear: the coach played a big role in limiting one of his key strengths — shooting — and gradually turned him from a direct, decisive player into more of a tempo controller.

I’ve met Pattimandram Raja in person when he visited my city in 2008. I was one of the speakers in the pattimandram where he was a naduvar. Also met him online in 2021 for one of my speeches. He was always friendly, rational, and focused on ideas. I never saw him ask anyone about caste. Social media is quick to judge. Let’s give him the benefit of doubt until facts are clear. #pattimandramraja

One of my favorite things about Josh Okogie from last season is he NEVER played outside his role. I never got worried my role player was going to go rogue on a possession. Utah please take care of him, I miss my demon already. 💔

"The the elite shooting from mid range is such a big deal in our game, it's the late-clock ability, his overall size, his ability to play in the middle of the floor, which is really hard to come double people and not give up the three point line to a team like they have, I would just say his continued evolution in his game. "He's an elite, All-Star player, two-way player. I just watched him grow over the years, not just the championship year, but with Jayson Tatum, obviously out, more responsibility falls into his hands, and I thought they did a great job building around him for this particular season, with all the shooting that surrounds him."
