I've always said Clemson is CFB's Chick-fil-A. Both do things differently and there's no pushback as long as the product is ELITE. Dabo hiring outside of his staff and sampling the portal is Chick-fil-A opening for lunch on Sundays.

Baloney, Dabo built his Clemson empire bringing in top notch (mostly outsider) coordinators. Things went downhill when he abandoned that practice & started only hiring "family". This & the Riley hire are him going back to what got him to the top before.

My local Chick-fil-A restaurants are huWhite-owned, managed, and predominantly staffed. The customer service is exceptional. However, one location is DEI black-owned and staffed, and each time I've visited, every aspect of the experience was subpar and fatiguing.
