This setup of the house is an instant red flag and a major design error. That driveway was designed to turn the basement into an indoor pool with every rain. 🤯 Never ever buy a house with a paved surface sloped towards the house! Never Ever!! 💯 And never buy a house without a qualified home inspection. Even if the sump pump was working, it wouldn’t have kept up with that unless you have a suped up sump pump.
