Front squats have always been a glaring weakness for me. Some of it has to do with poor limb leverages for it, for example my best back squat in a powerlifting competition was 640lbs whereas best front squat was 320 lbs-They kind of suck to do as they are uncomfortable, but they are on the path of where I want to go as an athlete so as they say “c’est la vie” -I’ll be doing them a lot more! On a good note, made some decent progress on rowing fitness today!

Trump: The reflecting pool that you've heard so much about, which is so incredible, it's been gruesomely vandalized by thugs, bad people. But soon, we'll be looking as beautiful as it looked just two weeks ago. In fact, I looked at it a little while ago. It looks perfect already. We're fixing it. The vandals got to it. They largely have been caught and are being prosecuted. We can't let that happen to our country. Can't let that happen. But it looks beautiful.

Ok so I've been testing Google's Gemini (the artist formerly known as Bard) on a few phones for a few weeks now. Some things I've noticed that stood out: Upsides - Tons of useful new generative features - can write letters, craft trip plans, create images, etc. All the good stuff - Notably better semantic understanding of random fact-based questions Downsides - It's missing some classic Google Assistant features like home control and adding to shopping lists - The new pop-up UI is a little more complex, but you can get used to it - Renaming it is gonna confuse a lot of people for no reason It's rolling out today and you can play with it:

I was surprised when I heard Criterion was doing Armageddon, 'cause I didn't think of it as that kind of movie when we did it. Um, and in retrospect now, I feel like maybe my best work in my career is the commentary on this disc. People approach me to talk about the commentary on this disc as much as they do like movies that I've been in. And it's because, um, I didn't know any better than to be really honest. But I won't spoil it for those of you who are interested. It... it... it is a... it is an... as an achievement that I'm proud of and didn't intend to be as good as I now think it is at the time.
