Told my sis in law I would do 100 pull ups today since I didn’t make it to the gym. Only 66 more to go. Whew I didn’t think this through but I will keep my word. 🤦‍♀️

Hey, I would just like to share my testimony with you. I was in Brazil not too long ago and I was telling everyone “Deus te abençoe” (God bless you) and “Jesus te ama” (Jesus loves you). I told this one lady in the favela and I could literally see it resonate with her spirit — we even took a picture together. Before I came, I had been playing the song “Porque Ele Vive” (Because He Lives) by Fernandinho — my stepmom is Brazilian and I was supposed to go to his church but didn’t end up making it. Later at the airport, I told the guy pushing my bags the same thing — “Deus te abençoe” / “Jesus te ama” — and he instantly started singing. I didn’t know what the song was, but I sent it to my stepmom and she told me it was “No Santo dos Santos” by Fernandinho.

This is my MotionFlashback for this year, basically a tiny “business card” I throw out into the world. I’ve been doing this every year since Ordinary Folk started the tradition back in 2019 It kind of sums up my whole year, my mindset, my habits, and all things I got obsessed

It’s been a while since I last shared my everyday carry, and this time, I’ve included a few of my must-haves.

I heard this song many times, didn’t ever see this before, didn’t even know who sang it since it was before my time! Do you know this?

Deion Sanders opens up about how the independence responsible for much of his success can become a weakness when leading other people “Every time I talk about this, I almost break down… No one ever came to see me play in high school. My mama was working. My father was doing his thing. My stepfather never came because he was doing his thing.” “I had to build up this dude inside of me that didn’t need nobody. I don’t need your handclaps. I don’t need your, ‘You go, boy.’ I don’t need nothing from you.” “I had to look in that mirror and reconcile with him. Ain’t nobody going to be here. Ain’t nobody came to see me play basketball. Ain’t nobody came to see me play baseball.” “So I really don’t need that. But some do. I can’t put you in the box with me… To think you feel like I feel… And you can go like I go…” “Because I’m running on a different type of fuel than you are.” “My coaches may need it. My kids may need it. My administrators may need it.” “I’ve got to understand that they’re not me. That’s been the hardest thing to reconcile. We’re totally different. We move totally different. We think totally different.”

DOKYEOM😭❤️‍🩹 He actually wanted to rest in August before his enlistment, but he has lots of work… #도겸 🐰How have I been doing these days? I’ve been doing this and that, the things I have to do, well. Also, recently, the date for when I’m going to the military came out. Since that came out, actually, before I go, I’ve been preparing things I have to do. I’ve also been recording, preparing things I have to do, filming, and doing things like that 🐰I’ve also been spending time with my family, going to see concerts trying to live diligently, spending some personal time of my own, and that’s how I’ve been doing 🐰Actually, I’m going to the military on September 8, you know. So, actually, I said I wanted to rest a little for the whole month of August. I told the company that I didn’t want to work. I said I want to not work and get some rest in August. That’s what I said at the time. But there’s more to do than I expected. I’m also working a lot more than I expected, and things are kind of turning out that way. 🐰So I’m doing more than I expected, preparing some things that I can go and show fans . Idon’t know how satisfied you’ll be, but since I’m preparing things in my own way, I hope you won’t be too sad and will enjoy it

Homan on his relationship with DHS Secretary Mullin: “Secretary Mullin calls me. I’ve been doing this for four decades. He relies on my counsel. I’ve been around a long time—I started in 1984—so I know where the bodies are buried. “I’m just saying Markwayne Mullin and me have a lot more communication when it comes to what I’ve known that worked from the past and what didn’t work from the past.”

“When you got pregnant, I was scared because Tosin works in the entertainment industry and travels a lot. I spent most of my parenting years raising my children on my own, and I didn’t want my daughter to go through the same thing. I was worried she’d be left at home alone with the baby.” — Nana Otedola

I didn’t know I was invisible until I stopped giving hits hard. I discovered this a long time ago after my second child. All my single friends wanted to do things I was no longer interested in doing, and after declining my phone became silent over the years. Does it bother me? Absolutely not.
