I've been experimenting with Seedance 2.0 to create seamless extensions. I created this sequence called UBUMBE FOREST. Seamless extensions can actually be quite tricky to do and requires some precise magic with editing to connect them. There is no shortcut here, you must experiment until you find the sweet... spot to make the transition seamless. Ubumbe Forest - During a routine foraging trip deep in the Ubumbe forest in Tanzania, a father guides his daughter off the beaten path. Here, hidden from the rest of their tribe, she steps into a breathtaking new world and comes face-to-face with insects and creatures she has never seen before, even encountering a rare Peafox. 🟢Extending a scene however is fairly simple: - Generate your first sequence. - Upload that video as an Omni reference. - Type this at the start of the prompt "Naturally continue the movement and momentum from the previous clip. Keep the exact same art style, lighting, character appearance, and physics." and then explain what happens next in this sequence. - Congrats, you now have a scene extension that naturally flows from where the last video ended. However this is only the start of the puzzle, you need to join these clips so they're seamless. Seedance 2.0 is able to match the pacing, remember the characters and even their voices using this technique. Seedance 2.0 is allowing us to enter a new era of music video creation. Here is how I created HONEY. It was a quick test to see how well this workflow holds up. 🐝 1 - Write your song and generate the music with Suno 5.5. 2 - Use an image generator of your choice. For HONEY I combined both Grok Imagine for aesthetics and Nano Banana Pro for refined editing. 3 - In Capcut I import my audio and just save out a blank video video containing the audio. This step is important because this video file containing audio will now be used with Seedance 2.0 as a video reference with Omni. This allows the AI to apply automatic and realistic lipsync and movement to the music, it's extremely powerful! 4 - Once I have a both my image and video with audio as reference, I use Seedance 2.0 Omni and upload my starting image and then the video reference with the audio. 5 - From here I'm simply prompting like normal, specifying what's happening in my scene with detailed instructions, mentioning multi shots and camera angle changes and then specifying that the person is singing along to the song. I type out the lyrics that are present to have better lipsync accuracy. 6 - Once I have generated a video and like the result, I do video to video, so i upload that video that just got generated and type "The scene continues" and prompt new actions to take place. This allows you to expand on a narrative. These new shots can be used as B-ROLL and since I uploaded my video as reference I have full consistency of everything it saw in the video. This is also extremely powerful. 7 - This is actually the most difficult part. Edit in Capcut. This is where you need to understand pacing and shot selection from all the scenes you generated to bring it all together. You must be strategic with the editing. Goodluck! I'll probably record a video tutorial at some point as it's easier to see what is being done.

Using Omni models, you can take the last frame from an existing video clip and prompt something like: “show me what happens next in the video, use the last frame as the start frame” and it actually creates a second clip with surprisingly good continuity from the original shot. But you know how when you try stitching two clips together in Premiere Pro, you can usually spot the exact transition point? The exposure shifts slightly, the lighting bounces, or something just feels off enough that you can tell the clips don’t fully belong together. Well this new tool called SeeDance 2 Stitcher from TomLikesRobots🤖 automatically blends the two clips together in a much more seamless way and honestly the results are pretty impressive.

It's not just about the quality of the output, but about how much control you have over your video's look. Watch my video here. I'm attaching reference images and asking the model to generate a video using them. I can reference each image using the @ symbol to instruct the model which image to use. You can even upload a clip and use its camera movement, styles from an image, and audio vibe from a track. By the way, you can take an existing video and replace, remove, or add elements to it while the model preserves everything else. This is the closest we've gotten to "editing videos like photos".

The workflow: 1. Make a start image in Midjourney 2. Block it out in Blender, animate the camera 3. Feed both to Seedance The more I test this pipeline, the more convinced I am that hybrid pipelines are the future. The conversation is moving fast but previs is one of the clearest unlocks so far. Seedance still isn't perfect at matching the reference but it's close. You can experiment with staging, timing, and camera movement before you ever touch the video model. Solve the scene before you generate the shot.

The first part took place at night in this mysterious forest; this new part will allow you to explore the forest during the day. In the nighttime animation of the forest, there's only background music. Here, I've done the opposite: there's no music, only sound effects. The video itself is a kind of audio-visual discovery experience through this forest. Animation AIs are developing much faster than those for audio, even though audio is just as important. I'm excited for AIs to make progress in this area . I've made too many clips with inconsistent characters, so I'll need to do some storytelling again 😉👍 Sound Effects: A large part comes from the library integrated into the Capcut editing software. Result: Gemini Omni surprised me with style quality and got closer than I expected in prompt adherence. But Seedance still feels ahead for storyboard execution, motion energy, camera language and environmental interaction. Gemini looks good. Seedance feels directed. Here is what I have been saying.....The Front door is a material called EXPANDED METAL, YOU CAN SEE THROUGH IT. The Door IS a Security Door, that you would have to cut through with two locks. A Lock that can be unlocked via a key on the handle, and a DEADbolt lock that would be locked on the inside of the door. This PREVENTS someone from being able to attack you when you OPEN the HOUSE door that is inside it, and behind this screen door. That door only opens when that deadbolt is unlocked from inside! ALso notice we see NO damage to the door or frame in this video!!

I was shocked to see this video that is spreading quickly on social media. This is the reserved forest of Khalanga in #Dehradun and the video is courtesy Ms Deepshikha Rawat Verma. The person in the white T shirt says that he is a contractor and Ashok Agarwal of Rishikesh is the owner of 40 bighas in this reserved forest. When you see the video, you will notice a very prominent gate that has been put in the reserved forest. For information, I have spoken to the Head of Forest Force, Govt of Uttarakhand this evening and requested that their department look into this. I hope that we get to know quickly what's really going on in this case. If I hear something crucial, I will surely share with you!

I'm recovering from surgery and decided to watch the Green Lantern. I've never seen it before and wanted to see if it really is as bad as every says it it - it is! But I noticed that about 30 mins into the film, there's a scene where Lively and Reynolds characters dance in a bar in an almost identical way to the slow dance scene from IEWU. The only difference is the characters were talking Could it be possible that Lively was trying to recreate the scene to be similar to the scene she did with her husband when she fell in love with him? Did she rewrite the scene to mirror the details of the dance? Is this what she means when she says her husband is "all over this movie"? Did Reynolds see this and get jealous because it hit a nerve? *side observation - she's rubbing her hands all over him and not intimacy coordinator is around

What if you could visualise how electricity flows from a wind farm in Scotland to your home in London? Ok it's not quite that simple, but it got me thinking that there must be a way of visualising the complexity of the electricity transmission grid in Great Britain. This is my first attempt… What you're seeing are the real power lines and substations on the transmission grid using OpenStreetMap data. The real connections between each substation are found using PyPSA-Eur as well as calculating the "electrical distance" or impedance between each substation. This is my incredibly basic and naive way of attempting to show the "speed" at which the energy is moving through the network, where the bottlenecks are, etc. I know it's not as simple as this, but it's a first attempt so… 😉 I've also added a way to pick any substation in the network and show how electricity pulses through the rest of the network from that point. This is the magic sauce that really brings to life how much infrastructure electricity has to pass through to get from point A to point B. Of course this isn't really what happens, and there's no demand to soak up the energy. However I think it still serves as an interesting visual of how complex the network actually is and the distances involved to get energy from one side of the country to the other. What do you think? Is this worth exploring further?

What if you could visualise how electricity flows from a wind farm in Scotland to your home in London? Ok it's not quite that simple, but it got me thinking that there must be a way of visualising the complexity of the electricity transmission grid in Great Britain. This is my first attempt… What you're seeing are the real power lines and substations on the transmission grid using OpenStreetMap data. The real connections between each substation are found using PyPSA-Eur as well as calculating the "electrical distance" or impedance between each substation.
