I've been experimenting with Seedance 2.0 to create seamless extensions. I created this sequence called UBUMBE FOREST. Seamless extensions can actually be quite tricky to do and requires some precise magic with editing to connect them. There is no shortcut here, you must experiment until you find the sweet... spot to make the transition seamless. Ubumbe Forest - During a routine foraging trip deep in the Ubumbe forest in Tanzania, a father guides his daughter off the beaten path. Here, hidden from the rest of their tribe, she steps into a breathtaking new world and comes face-to-face with insects and creatures she has never seen before, even encountering a rare Peafox. 🟢Extending a scene however is fairly simple: - Generate your first sequence. - Upload that video as an Omni reference. - Type this at the start of the prompt "Naturally continue the movement and momentum from the previous clip. Keep the exact same art style, lighting, character appearance, and physics." and then explain what happens next in this sequence. - Congrats, you now have a scene extension that naturally flows from where the last video ended. However this is only the start of the puzzle, you need to join these clips so they're seamless. Seedance 2.0 is able to match the pacing, remember the characters and even their voices using this technique. It was a quick test to see how well this workflow holds up. 🐝 1 - Write your song and generate the music with Suno 5.5. 2 - Use an image generator of your choice. For HONEY I combined both Grok Imagine for aesthetics and Nano Banana Pro for refined editing. 3 - In Capcut I import my audio and just save out a blank video video containing the audio. This allows the AI to apply automatic and realistic lipsync and movement to the music, it's extremely powerful! 4 - Once I have a both my image and video with audio as reference, I use Seedance 2.0 Omni and upload my starting image and then the video reference with the audio. 5 - From here I'm simply prompting like normal, specifying what's happening in my scene with detailed instructions, mentioning multi shots and camera angle changes and then specifying that the person is singing along to the song. I type out the lyrics that are present to have better lipsync accuracy. 6 - Once I have generated a video and like the result, I do video to video, so i upload that video that just got generated and type "The scene continues" and prompt new actions to take place. This allows you to expand on a narrative. These new shots can be used as B-ROLL and since I uploaded my video as reference I have full consistency of everything it saw in the video. This is also extremely powerful. 7 - This is actually the most difficult part. Edit in Capcut. This is where you need to understand pacing and shot selection from all the scenes you generated to bring it all together. You must be strategic with the editing. Goodluck! I have been wanting to test performance transfer in Seadance 2.5 since launch, now I have, I am really impressed by the results. I wrote a short script and recorded myself giving a rallying speech as an orc warlord, then fed this and an image of the orc into Seedance with this prompt "A cinematic close up of an orc warlord giving a rallying speech to his army of orcs. Transfer the performance, movement and audio from Video 1 onto the the character Image 1. Do not add any music" I didn't prompt the dialogue or performance in text. The first video you see is a a final cut of the video, the second is the final cut of the video with my video performance. As you can see it's not an exact like-for-like transfer of the performance and voice but more a interpretation by Seedance. It's made my amateur performance better IMHO, more fitting with the creator but retain the essence, nuance and context. So you don't have to feed in a long prompt to get good performance out of your AI actors you can just show them what you want with a video! I used Seedance Enterprise on bytedances lumina platform Lumina link in the comments!
