only thing is i’m compensating a lot with my movement and mirroring. so i think it will actually be more effective while standing still

To me, this isn’t developing your aim to help in a real game. Player movement is far too dynamic to just shoot bots going back and forth. If you wanna really aim train, turn on dynamic movement for bots where they can jump and go forward and back aswell as side to side.

the bots move forward too much on random, when they move forward it’s basically the same as them standing still. using human torch bots on random at far range is far more effective for unpredictable aim. this is for fine control of strafes.

Random is what you want, only low elo players movement so static. You’re obviously a good player so you don’t need my advice but just for anyone else who follows you and tries this, it really isn’t that helpful imho.

There’s little to 0 aim assist regardless on console so your turning off aim assist is really doing nothing for you

@ItsPenguVT the aim assist is weaker than most games but that’s a huge exaggeration

Not really you can check for yourself turning it off then back on it barely does anything if anything on rivals, trust me I even tweaked the settings to 90 85% ease smooth in etc to try get it to some what sticky or work and there’s literally 0 aim assist

85 ease in makes your aim assist weaker, it makes the transition zone between it bigger, you need to lower it for a stronger snap. nevertheless i play this game a lot and the majority of my content is controller aim-based. If you really theres no aim assist that’s a problem specific to you

definitely gonna do this time shake up my aim training and warm ups. Do you reckon no reticle would add to this too? Or is that just making it harder for no reason?

you might find it easier if you move the opposite direction of the person you are shooting. Its easier to level out the difference between you and the target

your not aiming tho your just moving your character to match the movement speed of the target, lower your dead zone and do this again

You want to aim train on console? Easy, they call it arcade mode, go play Hela or phoenix against the fast as hell DD’s black cats, black panthers and spiderkids. Learn to kill them with Hitscan and before long you take that fast reaction time into a real game

thanks for your advice however my actual aim training routine has worked well for me. i’m currently experimenting with doing it without aim assist to see if my aim improves.

I’ve been doing a no aim assist challenge to GM. So far got to D2. Funny thing I did notice is that the no aim assist almost feels like the default aim assist strength on pc😭
