I've been feeling anxious and stressed for a while. Next Wednesday, I'm going to have an open heart surgery. I've been having heart issues for years (Aortic aneurysm in my case) and surgery is inevitable. I hope everything will go well and I hope to come back stronger ❤️🐇

Yeah, they told me it's between 2 and 3 months to recover. As the recovery will be in summer, I guess that will help me a lot. Thanks for your kind words :)

Anxiety is super understandable. The silver lining here is that when it's over, you no longer will have to worry about this issue. You will come back stronger and happier. *hugs* This will benefit you in the long run, and you're going to be okay.

It's hard but I try to stay positive. I won't have to worry anymore after that :)

I was born with a congenital pulmonary stenosis that required me to have two open-heart surgeries in my life. I understand the anxiety you are feeling. But you will get through this and, though recovery will be long, you'll be all the better! ❤️

In fact, that will be my second open-heart surgery, first time was when I was 5. But it's not really the same feeling when you're adult. Thanks a lot for your support :)

Hope all goes well, be sure to follow instructions from the medics. At least you have some time to prepare, maybe stock up on some meal replacement shakes. No surgery is fun, even when you’re looking forward to it, I’ve had 4 major surgeries, 2 were emergency spine surgeries.

They gave me a book with all the steps. I do exercice every days for a few weeks to prepare my body for the surgery. So physically, I think I'm ready :3

I have a heart condition, as well. Genetics and such. I know this is all scary and such now, but I'm certain that they'll do a wonderful job and you'll be so glad once it's all done and you can bounce back with more energy than before!
