One of the smartest things you can do with Fable 5 right now: Re-create your AI second brain to log all your business ideas, personal context, and important data. The first time I built an AI second brain was with Opus, but I recently re-created it with Fable 5, and it blew my mind. Here's exactly how to get started: Step 1. Set up your Obsidian vault Download Obsidian from Obsidian dot md if you haven't already. Then, go ahead and create a clean vault with your most important folders. For example: /ideas → business ideas, content angles, random thoughts /context → who you are, your business, your goals, your stack /data → important numbers, portfolios, metrics /log → daily entries, decisions, lessons learned This is your database. Everything Fable reads lives here. Step 2. Connect Fable 5 to your vault I like this Claude Code prompt: "/goal connect to my Obsidian vault at [path] and act as my second brain orchestrator. Read everything in /context before every session. Log anything new I tell you to /log with today's date." Fable now reads your vault before it answers anything - it knows your business, your goals, your history. Step 3. Build the self-update habit Every time you have an idea, a decision, or a lesson, tell Fable: "Log this to my second brain: [thought]" Step 4. Start querying it You can start sending prompts like: → "What are the most common themes across my last 30 ideas?" → "Based on my context, what should I be prioritising this week?" → "What decisions have I made about my content strategy so far?" Every token features a real time price chart, transactions log, and chat box. I'm actually so impressed by this omg. I asked ISTZZ how he made this, and he said he was new to coding and used Grok + Github Copilot + Visual Studio to create his website. With AI, you can literally build anything you think of. I'm a HUGE AI maxi and I encourage everyone to fully embrace AI for learning new things, especially coding. Absolutely nothing is out of your reach if you have a smart AI to answer all your questions.

While building SEV0, I ran into moments where natural language prompting just wasn't enough - too vague, too indirect. So I started using a method that bridges that gap. I call it Bridged Prompting - a technique where you temporarily step out of the prompt-response loop to manipulate something directly using an AI-generated UI, then step back in. Think of it like GenUI, but more user-driven and transient. AI generates a UI on-the-fly, tailored to your prompt, and lets you manipulate the artifact directly before resuming the conversation. Sure, you could build a full tool, switch tabs, wire it up and round-trip your data. But with Bridged Prompting, the AI just spins up a temporary interface right in the flow. In the video below, I used it to construct the hallway system to closely match the layout of the severed floor. This is something I needed to do for this one project, this one time - I didn't need to make a whole separate app. Bridged Prompting lets you: - Make precise edits visually or structurally - "Hit save" to persist changes to local storage or a backend - Return to your natural language prompt

As promised, I open-sourced the app. Introducing Inka: AI Daily Journal for BOOX devices → ← It started as an experiment: a simple screen where you can write anything and the page writes back. I showed it to my son and he absolutely loved it. Then I realized I could turn this into a daily journal app, where you can write down your thoughts and get answers back. It's low-bandwidth communication, yes. But that's a feature, not a bug. I find myself focusing much better while drawing _random_ things on paper. And so I turned the one-screen experiment into a full app. You can configure the AI provider, persona, writing animation, handwriting font & style and even an experimental handwriting synthesis for a more realistic feel. Give it a try and let me know what you think.

I've built an XR prototype with Rémi at In The Pocket where you can stand inside your knowledge base on Apple Vision Pro. Ask a question and the AI lights up the relevant documents in space, so you literally see where your answer comes from. When you ask something specific like "I want to be an astronaut, what can I learn", only a few tight clusters glow. I'm reiterating - I think a better interface for LLMs on desktop is an interactive notebook, not chat. I'm trying to build a better intuition for PCA and strongly feel an interactive notebook where I'm chatting with LLM + also modifying code/plotting figures is a much better interaction. Bonus points if you make notebook cells branchable (so if you get an error, you can ask LLM to fix it without adding that rotten context to the main branch of learning). Please steal this idea. Make an AI-powered, interactive, branching notebook.
